V-Care Project

The world is now facing a global economic crisis, causing financial instability and social strife. Drastic increases in world food and fuel prices in 2008 have caused much anxiety and fear in both poor and developed countries. Many people are struggling to put food on their tables and finding ways to survive this crisis. As citizens of the world, we strongly believe that we can play our role to reduce others’ pain through saving.

Nālandā Vidyālaya had recently organized a “Saving Project” with the theme – "Helping Oneself and Others through Saving". The main objective of this project is to create awareness among the facilitators and students on the needs to save. Besides, students are also encouraged to share the same message with their parents, relatives, teachers and friends at school.

In four weeks, the students of Nālandā Vidyālaya had meaningfully participated in and contributed to a few activities, namely the Environmental Month, the “Saving Song” Composition, Youtube Production and (this) Comics Publication. In your hands now is the ‘heart work’ comics and passionate drawing by a few students of Nālandā Vidyālaya. We hope you will enjoy reading them!
