Nalanda Youth Centre opens tomorrow, 1 May 2014. Sadhu anumodana!

Tomorrow is the official launching of Nalanda Youth Centre – the first dedicated centre for Buddhist youth activities in Serdang.  We are honoured to welcome Ven. B. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Thero, Sangha members, and Buddhist community leaders to join Nalandians in celebrating this milestone for the Malaysian Buddhist youth movement.

We are privileged to have Bro. Goh Qing Song, President of Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia, as our Guest of Honour.  He will be giving a keynote speech on ‘The Role of Buddhist Youths in Dhamma Propagation’.

The programme for the day is as follows:

09.00 am              Nalandians gather at Nalanda Centre for Pūja and meditation

09.45 am              Arrival of Sangha members and guests

10.00 am              Official Launching Ceremony

11.00 am              Visit to Nalanda Youth Centre & Youth Library

11.30 am              Sanghika Dāna & Dedication of Merits

11.45 am              Luncheon for guests and devotees

12.30 pm              End of Official Programme

We look forward to welcoming our honoured guests and friends to the official launching.
