We thank all Branch members for their contribution and commitment to the Society’s mission.

Just this morning, Saturday 9 March, members of Nalanda Kuala Lumpur Branch held their 11th Annual General Meeting at NEO Centre in Happy Garden, joined by Nalanda President Sis. Buddhini Tan, Deputy President Bro. Charlie Teng, Honorary Treasurer Sis. Lim Kah Hong and KL Branch Coordinator Bro. Lee Kong Foo.

The Branch report evidenced the continuous efforts of members to actively engaging the community through Dhamma programmes such as Pindacāra and group meditation sessions. The inaugural Family Dhamma School launched in 2023 inspired many families and also the commencement of the School in Johor Bahru Branch.

The AGM commences with offerings to the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.

Members are happy to meet their kalyana mittas.

Sis. Buddhini Tan shared her appreciation and reflection on how the Branch had grown due to the efforts put in by the members.

Bro Yong Keok Fatt, re-assumed his role as Branch Chairman and expressed his gratitude to all members for their support as well as hoped that everyone can together progress our education mission to meet the needs of the community to learn and practice Dhamma.  We thank the outgoing Committee for their dedication and also wish the new Committee perseverance and success in serving the community.  Sadhu!
