180 care bags offered to Welfare Homes

The children conveyed their thanks for the kind donors for the care bags.

Yesterday, on Monday 22 July, Nalanda members and volunteers got together to deliver some care and kindness to residents of Pusat Jagaan Rumah Juara and PJ Caring Home.  180 care bags with daily use items and food were gifted to each resident of the welfare homes, together with groceries and a wholesome home-cooked lunch.

In turn, the children and elderly residents extended their heart-felt appreciation to the volunteers and donors for this thoughtful gesture.  We invite you to join the Care Bag project, organised as part of the Family Fun Fair, by sponsoring RM20 per bag using the Fun Fair coupons.  This kind deed goes a long way for those less fortunate.  Sadhu anumodana.
