Best wishes to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on her 60th Birthday on 2 April 2015.

This month, the Thai Nation celebrated the auspicious 60th birthday of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.  Her Royal Highness is much respected and loved by her people, having devoted her life to public service since young.  She has supported hundreds of development projects in health care, education, agriculture and arts to improve the quality of life for Thai people.

HRH Princess Sirindhorn is also an accomplished musician and scholar, being proficient in many languages including Pāli and Sanskrit.  Nalandians rejoice with our Thai friends in wishing Her Royal Highness the blessings of good health, long life, strength, and wisdom.

Many government and private facilities set up felicitation counters in honour of HRH Princess Sirindhorn.

Nalanda Founder Bro. Tan was in Bangkok last April to offer felicitations during HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s birthday. He was there to deliver a talk at a Dhamma Education Programme.
