Thank you to all nurses around the world

Thank you to all nurses around the world

To show our care and support for medical workers, let’s keep ourselves healthy and adhere to all SOPs to break the high number of infections.

Today is International Nurses Day, which is celebrated around the world every year on 12 May in conjunction with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale (1820 – 1910). The indispensable role of nurses has never been more apparent as they battle relentless for the lives of their patients in this Covid-19 pandemic.

Medical workers have been overworked in many parts of the world as hospital wards fill to the brim with those inflicted by the virus. Although they have to confront countless challenges, they continue to face each day bravely for the sake and safety of others.

We are grateful to our doctors and nurses put aside their own needs to look after the sick and dying.

Let’s show our care and appreciation for all hardworking front-liners by doing our part to be vigilant and taking all necessary precautions to stop the spread of the pandemic. Every one of us is able to lessen the strain on our health system and indirectly help those stricken with the virus to receive the treatment they need.

We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to nurses everywhere for your endurance and patience in caring for the sick. We celebrate your spirit of selflessness in serving others with a big heart and compassion. Happy ‘International Nurses Day’ and a big ‘THANK YOU’ from all of us!
