Felicitations to the people of Thailand on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol’s birthday

Today marks the 88th birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.  Nalanda Buddhist Society Malaysia conveys our best wishes to His Majesty, the Royal Family, and the people of Thailand on this auspicious occasion.

Thailand and Malaysia share a long history as close neighbours.  The people and Buddhist communities of both nations have had strong ties for centuries.  We hope that these bonds of friendship, amity and peace will continue for a long time to come for the common good of both countries and our entire region.

Long live His Majesty!  May the Thai nation be blessed with peace, success and happiness!
