Robes Offering

It was a bright and beautiful Sunday morning as devotees, from as young as babies in their mothers’ arms to hearty seniors in their 60s and 70s, thronged Nalanda Centre to offer robes and requisites to the Maha Sangha.

The ceremony, held from 9am till Noon, started with Pūja in the Shrine Hall, followed by a Powerpoint presentation in English and Mandarin on the meaning and significance of robes offering at the Seminar Hall. A total 130 robes and 200 bundles of requisites were offered by devotees. The joyous occasion was rounded off with Sanghika Dāna and lunch for all present.
