Getting ready Buddhist flags to decorate the Centre.

On 20 April, members and devotees of Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch gathered for Service Sunday with pūja, chanting and meditation.  As ‘Buddha Day’ (Wesak Full-moon) is merely 3 weeks away, Nalandians and devotees worked together to put in place programmes to observe this sacred occasion.

Everyone participated joyfully in getting the JB NEO Centre ready by cleaning, hanging up Buddhist flags, and sprucing up different parts of the Centre.  It was a day well-spent in performing wholesome service and forging healthy friendship, putting into practise one of Nalanda’s Core Value – ‘Inter-personal Well-being and Social Harmony’.  Sadhu anumodanā!

The Buddhist flags bring much 'colour' to the Centre.
