Teachers’ Day Celebration in Johor Bahru

Nalanda Free School in Johor Bahru celebrated "Teachers' Day" with much merriment and gratitude.

On Saturday 19 July, teachers and students of Nalanda Free School Johor Bahru Branch celebrated “Teachers’ Day” at NEO Centre JB.  Since its inception, teachers, students and their parents formed a firm rapport, encouraged by the active participation of all parties.  Teachers and parents are well aware of the roles they play in guiding students to experience holistic education, where good values and refined culture are instilled.

The students are appreciative of the time and effort volunteer teachers put in to help them in their studies.  In a symbolic gesture, they offered tea to their teachers in a simple ‘tea ceremony’ and brought gifts for their teachers, too.  The teachers were touched by their students’ thoughtfulness and expression of gratitude.

We wish to thank all Nalanda Free School teachers for their great dedication in nurturing their charges.  Sadhu anumodana!
