On Saturday 20 September, devotees gathered at the Seri Kembangan morning market for our twice-monthly ‘Pindacāra’ (monks going on alms-round) programme.  The rain which came in the early morning did not dampen the spirits of many devotees who turned up with offerings to the venerable monks.

The three ‘bhikkhus’ (monks) from Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple Sentul walked around the periphery of the market, accompanied by volunteers sheltering them from the rain.  Despite the downpour, many people from different age groups, including families with young children, were seen joyfully making offerings.  We wish to thank all devotees and volunteers for participating in this wet but joyful ‘Pindacāra’.  Sadhu anumodana!

The venerables conducted blessings for devotees at the conclusion of the programme.
