Branch Secretary, Sis. Sumedha shared the importance of being proactive and serving the community.

On Saturday 27 December, Nalanda Sungai Petani Branch held our 10th Members’ Day, the last for the year 2014 at Gurun Buddhist Association.  Bro. Khaw Keng Hooi’s sharing on “Forgiveness” was a timely reminder for members to reflect upon before the new year.  Branch Secretary, Sis. Sumedha shared on the importance of being proactive and giving service to the community.

After the sharing session, members had a fruitful discussion based on the Nalandian Creed.  The session concluded with a practice of the song “You Raise Me Up”, which was to be performed at the 2nd National Nalanda Members’ Convention.  Members took the opportunity to strengthen their fellowship and bonding during the rehearsal.  Sadhu anumodana.
