On Sunday 19 April, the Director of Pustaka Nalanda Bro. Ananda Fong gave a presentation on the life of the late Venerable Dr. Walpola Rahula of Sri Lanka; and his immense contribution to the understanding and propagation of Dhamma through his publications and lectures.

‘Service Sunday’ begins with meditation to calm our minds before the Dhamma teaching.

Everyone was inspired by Ven. Rahula’s noble dhammaduta qualities as well as his outstanding scholarly work in Sri Lanka and in the West.  We thank Pustaka Nalanda for introducing this prodigious Buddhist scholar, author and teacher for us to learn from and emulate.  Sadhu!
