On 2 July, Nalanda Founder Bro.Tan made a visit to NEO Centre Sungai Petani (SP) in Kedah to witness its progress.  He was accompanied by Nalanda SP Branch Chairman Bro. Khaw, Deputy Chairman Bro.Teoh, and Building Committee Members.  Project Coordinator Ar. Bro. Fong briefed the team on the progress of construction work, which began in April and is currently 42% completed.

Bro.Tan also met with the contractor’s representatives and toured the site for almost 2 hours. He expressed happiness in seeing the smooth progress of the building and thanked Ar. Fong and members of the Building Committee for doing a wonderful job in monitoring the construction.

Bro.Tan reminded the SP Branch Management to always communicate the progress of the building with members, and coordinate suitable fund-raising activities to complete the project. He expressed confidence that NEO Centre SP will play a pivotal and invaluable role in spearheading Buddhist education in the Northern Region.  Sadhu anumodana!
