Happiness is Our Own Responsibility

Happiness is Our Own Responsibility

3 & 4 November 2012

A core teaching of the Buddha is that “We are what we think.”  Happiness and sorrow are our own responsibility.  We are not helpless victims of unchangeable negative emotions.  If we train our mind properly, happiness will be the result.

Find out how the Buddha’s teachings are relevant to you in the modern world today!  Come and learn from world-renowned Buddhist teachers about how you can develop true happiness and well-being in everyday life.  Throughout the two-day Conference, there are a total of 10 speakers, who are representing the three main Buddhist traditions of Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana.

If you register on or before 15 August 2012, the Conference Fee (which includes lunch and refreshments on both days) is RM320 for adults, RM200 for students.  From 16 August 2012 onwards, the Conference Fee is RM380 for adults, RM270 for students.

This Conference is organised by Buddhist Gem Fellowship, Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia and Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia, supported by various Buddhist organisations in Malaysia and the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth.
