Life is impermanent indeed.  Venerable Dr. Dhammadinna Thero, a resident bhikkhu at the Buddhist Māha Vihāra Kuala Lumpur and a disciple of the late Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda, passed away on Friday, 20 November in Malacca.  20 Nalandians led by President Sis. Evelyn attended the wake service to pay respects to the late venerable.

Ven. Dr. Dhammadinna completed his doctoral studies in Sri Lanka last year; he had just been appointed the Director of a local Buddhist Institute.  He visited Nalanda Centre in October for a meeting with Founder Bro.Tan to explore joint programmes with Nalanda Institute.  They were scheduled to meet again in December; but that meeting would never materialize with Ven. Dhammadinna’s unexpected passing.

The funeral service for the late venerable will be held on Sunday 22 November, 1.30pm, in Asoka Hall at the Buddhist Māha Vihāra.  Let us all dedicate merits to the late Ven. Dr. Dhammadinna Thero – may he attain the bliss of Nibbāna and be liberated from Suffering.  Santī, Peace.
