Tomorrow, 22 February, will be the full-moon of the first lunar month, marking the end of the 15-day Lunar New Year celebrations. “Chap Goh Meh”, which means ‘the fifteenth night’ in the local Hokkien dialect, is a significant day for the Chinese community in Malaysia. Traditionally, families would celebrate the festival with dinner reunions, blessings and aspirations for a happy, harmonious and bountiful year ahead.
Nalanda wishes everyone who celebrates “Chap Goh Meh” a joyful, wholesome and fulfilling time. May you and your loved ones be blessed with good conditions for further spiritual progress. Sukhihontu.
