Friends arrive for tomorrow’s ‘Fun Fair’

Today, on the eve of the ‘Fun Fair’, dozens of members and supporters started streaming into Nalanda Centre from Johor Bahru, Kelantan, Kedah and elsewhere. Many people eagerly jumped in to help prepare for tomorrow’s event as soon as they’d arrived.
In the kitchen at Nalanda Centre, Nalandians from Serdang and Johor Bahru joined hands to prepare food.

Earlier this afternoon, we welcomed our contingent of friends from the Buddhist Fellowship Singapore. The group of 29 was warmly received by Nalanda Centre Director Sis. Nandini and senior Nalandian officers. Many among them were visiting Nalanda for the first time, and were therefore brought on a building tour.

At 7.00pm, 240 Nalandians and devotees settled into a simple dinner, followed by evening chanting and sharings by Bro. Tan at 8.15pm. Nalanda President Sis. Evelyn, and Fun Fair Organising Team member Sis. Joyce Lim will also addressed the congregation.
