On 6 August, Nalanda Buddhist Society was invited to participate in a book-launching ceremony organised by Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) Buddhist Centre Malaysia (马来西亚法鼓山道场).  The book 《聖嚴法師年譜》 was about the life and times of Dharma Drum Mountain founder, Venerable Master Sheng Yen.

Chief editor of the book 林其贤 gave a sharing at the book-launch.  He said that reading the biographies of truly great men often inspires us to be better people.  Producing a biographic account of Master Sheng Yen will allow many people to feel closer to his thoughts and ideals, and learn from such a disciplined and masterful Dharma teacher.

Chang Zao.  It was attended by many Malaysian disciples and students of the late Chan Master Sheng Yen, who passed away in February 2009.
