Bidding farewell to the Nalandian pilgrims at KLIA on Friday evening.

A team of 45 Nalandians left today for a two-week ‘Dhammayatra’ (pilgrimage) to India and Nepal.  The spiritual journey will take the group through places associated with the life of our great Teacher, the Buddha, starting with Uruvela (Bodhgaya), Rajagaha, Nalanda, Vesali, Savatthi, Kusinara, Kapilavatthu, Lumbini, and ending in Benares.

The ‘Dhammayatra’ is led by Nalanda founder Bro. Tan, accompanied by Board Member Bro. Vincent and several Dhamma School facilitators.  Also on the tour are all three Nalanda Branch Chairmen from Johor Bahru, Sungai Petani and Kuala Lumpur, as well as many Branch Committee Members.  The Nalandians will be joined by 29 other friends from Singapore for the trip.

Nalandians and devotees have been calling at Nalanda Centre over the last few days to wish the team a safe and successful pilgrimage.  We wish all pilgrims the best of health and endeavour; may this ‘Dhammayatra’ be insightful and conducive for your liberation from Samsāra.  Sadhu anumodana.
