Join us for 7 weeks of relatively intensive Dhamma learning and practice at Nalanda Centre.

For seven weeks after the Buddha’s Enlightenment on Wesak full-moon in May, He contemplated on the Dhamma with His perfectly clear faculty of comprehension.  Then, He travelled for seven days from Bodhgaya to Sarnath, where He preached the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta on Asalha Day, the full-moon in July.

It is during this period that Nalanda members observe the Gimhāna Retreat annually.  We invite you to join us for 7 weeks of relatively intensive Dhamma learning and practice at Nalanda Centre.  We welcome everyone to come and understand the Dhamma through progressive communal, and personal practice.  The theme for this year’s retreat is, “Buddha – Our Teacher & Refuge”.
