Nalanda organises alms-round on the first and third Saturdays of every month in several locations to educate the public on proper ways to support to Buddhist monastic order.

On Saturday 17 June, Nalanda is organising the monthly educational ‘Pindacāra’ (Monks on alms-round) programme in Seri Kembangan with an additional stop.  Besides the usual route at Jalan Besar market, the venerable monks will also go for alms at Pasar Rakyat Bazaar located in neighbouring Bukit Serdang.

Saturday’s programme begins at 7.30am with chanting at Nalanda Centre Sri Serdang, followed by the alms-round at Jalan Besar market starting 8.30am, and Pasar Rakyat at 9.15am.  You can offer cooked vegetarian food to monks on alms-round, and please invite your family and friends to participate in this meritorious act.  Sadhu!
