On Saturday 17 June, Nalanda Centre was honoured to receive a visit by Venerable Dhammavuddho Mahāthera, the Founder-Abbot of Vihara Buddha Gotama in Temoh, Perak; he was accompanied by Ven. Khantipalo and Bro. Vipassi.

Ven. Dhammavuddho was warmly welcomed by the assembly of Nalanda members in the Dhamma Teaching Hall.  He gave a concise talk to encourage Nalandians to continue with the good educational work done over the past decade.  Nalanda Buddhist Society took the opportunity to offer dāna to the Sangha Foundation, which supports programmes at Vihara Buddha Gotama.

Ven. Dhammavuddho later had a discussion with Achariya Tan Siang Chye on the upcoming WACANA 2017 Conference, where he will be one of the keynote speakers.  We thank Ven. Dhammavuddho for his visit, encouraging advice, and compassion.

Nalanda Buddhist Society took the opportunity to offer dāna to the Sangha Foundation. The donation was presented on behalf of all members by President Sis. Evelyn and Deputy President Bro. Charlie Teng.
