Tragic air-crash in Kathmandu

Flight BS211 crashed around 2.15pm local Nepali time while landing at Tribhuvan Airport.

Just days after the 4th anniversary of MH370’s disappearance, another tragic air-crash happened this afternoon in Nepal when a turboprop passenger aircraft was attempting to land at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport.  Flight BS 211 belonging to US-Bangla Airlines was flying on a scheduled flight from the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka to Kathmandu with 71 people on board.

At least 49 crew and passengers were killed and dozen others injured.  Circumstances surrounding the accident are still being investigated.
