Bro. Tan hosted friends from Batam and had a fruitful discussion on Buddhist education.

On 23 January, Nalanda Centre hosted friends visiting us for the first time from Vihara Dhamma Mulia, Batam.  Warmly welcomed by Sis. Nandini Tan and Nalanda officers, they were brought on a tour around Nalanda Centre, K. Sri Dhammananda Centre and Wisdom Park Exhibition.

The group met with Nalanda founder Bro. Tan and had discussions on Buddhist education, including an introduction to the programmes and activities offered by the Society, Institute and Dhamma School.  After the visit, they adjourned to Nalanda Book Café for a healthy vegetarian lunch.  We thank our friends from Batam for visiting us and we look forward to receive you again!
