Sangha members visit Nalanda

Nalanda Centre was honoured to host venerable monks from Sri Lanka on 12 February.

On 12 February, we hosted 12 venerable monks visiting Malaysia from Sri Lanka.  Led by Venerable Nandaloka Thero, the venerables toured Nalanda Centre and K. Sri Dhammananda Centre.  They were also introduced to the objectives of Wisdom Park at the exhibition gallery.

Nalanda Founder Bro. Tan related fond stories of Nalanda’s late Spiritual Advisor, Venerable K. Sri Dhammananda who was born and raised in Sri Lanka.  Venerable Dhammananda spent the majority of his years in Malaysia and played a significant role in the development of Buddhist education here.  We thank venerable sirs for visiting us and wish them good health, happiness and peace.
