On Sunday 15 September, NEO Centre Johor Bahru welcomed good friends and family to the popular Nalanda ‘Family Fun Fair’ at Taman Johor Jaya. This year’s fair was the largest one ever held by the J.B. Branch, with 85 stalls offering a range of food, household items and games. Fair-goers were treated to performances by Dhamma School students and talented devotees, and visited exhibitions on the educational and community programmes.
Supporters and volunteers arrived early in the morning to prepare their wares with care, working happily and harmoniously together throughout the event. We were honoured to receive Yang Berhormat Liow Cai Tung, the Johor State EXCO Member for Women Development and Tourism, and State Assemblywoman for Johor Jaya, who spent time to peruse through the fair and engage with the crowd.
