4th Anniversary of Wisdom Park Development Committee

4th Anniversary of Wisdom Park Development Committee

We are very grateful to the Development Committee for helping to realise this noble project.

On Sunday 20 October, a simple celebration was held to commemorate the 4th anniversary of Wisdom Park Development Committee (WPDC).  Since its formation in October 2015, its members have been selflessly and tirelessly driving the development of Wisdom Park.  The Committee has been meeting monthly since its inception without a miss, thus keeping the construction schedule on track.

Although Wisdom Park development is still in its early stages, we can already see the benefit it is bringing to the community.  The facilities have hosted many programmes including the first Sanghika Dāna, a Leadership Retreat, training for youth camp facilitators, and the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults.

A simple lunch was held at K. Sri Dhammananda Centre to celebrate the anniversary.

Many expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Buddha-Sāsana in their capacity as members of the Development Committee.

A small token of appreciation was prepared for each WPDC member.

The Development Committee has had 48 meetings since the committee was formed.

Members of WPDC constantly keep track of construction through site meetings with contractors.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the members of WPDC, Nalanda Leadership, donors, and volunteers who are helping to realise this noble project.  Your invaluable contributions and support will bring about immeasurable benefits to the Buddhist community for generations to come.  Thank you!
