We rejoice in the selfless service of our Free School teachers and volunteers as well as our students’ learning spirit.

On Saturday 26 October, Nalanda Free School held its annual ‘Appreciation Day’ to honour all its teachers and volunteers.  As the 2019 school year has come to an end, this was also the occasion to celebrate the achievements of the students.  During the joyous event, everyone was treated to performances by students and was inspired by the wonderful sharing of some teachers.

Students, parents and teachers alike rejoiced when awards were presented to students from each class after careful evaluation.  Teachers shared the improvements shown by their students, particularly their positive attitudes towards learning.  The award categories were the “Full Attendance Award”, “Most Improved Student Award” and the “Most Enthusiastic Learner Award”.

The event commenced with a meditation session to calm our minds.
