‘Pindacāra’ (monks on alms round) was the first Dhamma programme initiated at NEO Centre in Happy Garden.  On 2 June 2012, Nalandians and volunteers introduced the wholesome practice of dāna (generosity) to market-goers and vendors in the Taman O.U.G. market, and subsequently to the Happy Garden market.

This monthly opportunity to support monastics was well-received and continued up until the pandemic in 2020.  With the emergence of supporting conditions, the Centre was able to host Pindacāra again today.  We are inspired by the resounding support of the community this morning and throughout the years, and we look forward to continue our service to the Sāsana.

With renewed spirit and hope, we look forward to the Officiating Ceremony of the new NEO Centre KL in 8 days’ time on 11 December.  Sadhu anumodāna.
