Volunteers skill-up at NEO KL

Volunteers skill-up at NEO KL

Bro. Charlie Teng explains how we can effectively engage the community.

On Saturday 25 March, 30 volunteers joined a volunteers training programme at NEO KL in Happy Garden to develop their skills in service to the community.  Facilitated by Sis. Buddhinī Tan and Bro. Charlie Teng, volunteers recapped their important role in contributing towards a conducive learning experience.  Through our sincerity and care, we can better play our part in providing holistic educational opportunities based on Buddha-Dhamma.

We thank Nalanda KL Branch for organising this training programme for volunteers and rejoice in the selfless spirit of participants to skill-up as a volunteer.  If you would like to volunteer at Nalanda, especially for the upcoming Buddha Day Observance, please register here . The briefing for all volunteers will be held on Sunday, 16 April from 1pm-3pm.

May your service to the Buddha-Sāsana be ever joyful and a valuable part of your spiritual journey.

The session starts with offerings to the Three Jewels and chanting.

Bro. Yong welcomes members and volunteers.

Sis. Buddhini Tan thanks everyone for being volunteers in service to the Buddha-sasana.

Everyone listens attentively to the training.
