Arrival of venerable monks at Nalanda Centre

Venerable monks and devotees at the shrine dedicated to Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda.

Just an hour ago, Nalanda members and volunteers joyfully welcomed Ven. Dr. K. Gnanawimala Thera and Ven. D. Rahula Thera to Nalanda Centre.  Venerable monks have travelled from Sri Lanka to lend their presence to the Malaysian Buddhist community during this holy Vesakha month, and we are grateful that they are here at Nalanda for the Buddha Day Observance.

We invite you to join us tomorrow (Thursday 4 May) morning at 7am for the Pindacāra (monks on alms-round) which will start at Nalanda Centre, and to offer breakfast dāna to venerable monks.  The Buddha Day Service starts at 9am, featuring a Dhamma talk by Bro. Tan Siang Chye on ‘Living a Meaningful Life’, and will be followed by offering of lunch dāna.  All are welcome.
