Today is the 105th birth anniversary of the late Luang Pu Chah Subaddho (หลวงปู่ชา). Known to most as Ajahn Chah, he was one of the greatly revered Buddhist teachers in modern times who had inspired thousands of Thai and foreign bhikkhus to practise according to the ‘forest monk’ tradition.
His teachings and legacy continue to reach out through his many disciples to widen the interests of the world in meditation and in living a simple way of life. Let us pay humble tribute to this great teacher of many by recollecting his teachings and by practising them diligently!
“The Dhamma is revealing itself in every moment, but only when the mind is quiet can we understand what it is saying, for the Dhamma teaches without words.”
― Ajahn Chah
