The Svagatam Inspiring Programme (SIP) started its first of eight sessions on 16 July and is now mid-way into their sessions. We share with you a testimony from a participant :
“I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I first signed up for the Svagatam Inspiring Programme, but I was eager to find out what can help me along my spiritual journey. In the past weeks, we had the opportunity to learn not just the very basics of the Buddha’s teachings in simple terms, but also better understood the reasons behind actions which we take for granted, such as folding our palms to greet each other, bowing to the Buddha image and more.”
“I feel my confidence in Buddhism grow because I am now able to understand many things which I didn’t before. We also had opportunity to enquire as well and learn from others’ questions, which revealed valuable information that I didn’t know I lacked! I look forward to the next classes, and hope to continue my Dhamma learning after that. Thank you.”
