BPS204 lectures concluded joyfully

Participants and volunteers at NEO KL are happy to gather again for continuous learning after the basic Buddhist Studies course.

On Saturday 14 October, participants of BPS 204 – Intermediate-level Buddhist Studies in Mandarin completed their final lecture in the series of eight.  Since July, more than 80 participants have been diligently learning and reflecting on the Buddha’s teachings across Nalanda Education & Outreach Centres in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani.

Building on their knowledge from the basic Buddhist Studies courses, participants delved deeper into the teachings of the Buddha.  With the guidance of lecturers and facilitators, they also discussed their reflections and had opportunities to ask questions to clear their doubts.

Joyful learning with the support of good spiritual friends.

Course lecturers include Bro. Ooi Boon Keat.

Sis. Sandy Lim is both the coordinator and lecturer of the course.

Sis. Sua Siau Theng shares about the history of Buddhism.

We rejoice in the efforts exerted by all participants from northern to southern Peninsula, and the support they provide each other in this learning journey.  The final part of the course will be a  historical study tour to Bujang Valley in November.  We wish you a smooth and fulfilling excursion.  Sadhu.
