F.U.N. completes its run with blessings

Thank you to all who have supported this programme tailored for university students.

The Fellowship Undergraduate Network (F.U.N.) programme completed its 6-session run on Saturday 18 November.  This specially planned programme for university students enabled participants to explore the theme of ‘Leading with Purpose’ and to cultivate leadership qualities for personal and professional success.

Throughout the programme, participants explored what it means to be leader, and how we can do so in accordance with the Buddha’s teachings which upholds values of respect and harmlessness to all.  This culminated in the final session with Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy to learn how we can be a blessing in our life, through embedding the spirit of gratitude, compassion, and wisdom into our daily lives.

Participants sharing their reflections.

Sis. Paruadi Ramasamy delivered a Dhamma talk on how to be a blessing.

Tokens of appreciation for participants with the highest attendance rate.

Participants sharing what they have learned throughout the course.

When we have adopt an attitude of gratitude, we are able to identify blessings through any challenge we may face.

We thank the organising committee, volunteers and participants for realising this platform for youths to learn and reflect on important values in life, so that they can better overcome challenges and live more meaningfully.  Sadhu anumodana!

We have so much of blessings bestowed to us by our parents, family and friends, that we must in turn be a blessing for them.

Sis. Lim Cai Pei hosted the sixth session.

Energetic and keen to share their reflections.

When we recognise how much blessings we have, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

Everyone rejoicing in each others’ progress.

Sharing of merits to all beings.
