On Sunday 25 February, members of Nalanda Johor Bahru Branch gathered for their 11th Annual General Meeting joyfully at NEO Centre, Johor Bahru.  The meeting was also attended by the Nalanda President Sis. Buddhinī Tan, Honorary Secretary Sis. Livin Leow and Assistant Secretary Sis. Santī Cheang.

After receiving updates on the programmes in the past year, members proceeded to elect the Branch Management Committee for 2024 – 2026.  The newly-elected Committee led by Sis. Ong Ai Geok, who was elected as the new Branch Chairperson, expressed gratitude to the outgoing Committee for their diligence and invaluable services in the past years.

Sis. Buddhini rejoiced in the new team formed and encouraged all members to uphold our Mission in unity and contribute to the Buddha-Sāsana in our various capacities, for the benefit of both ourselves and the community.

May the new Committee serve the community with great dedication and commitment.  Sadhu!
