On Saturday 27 April, over 100 participants and volunteers of the Sigalovada Sutta (Digha Nikaya 31) Study Course in Mandarin completed their final session at all three Nalanda Branches in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani.
Organised by Nalanda Institute Malaysia to cater to the rising interest of its BPS course alumni, the participants delved deeper into a householder’s moral conduct and how one can properly conduct their duties as taught by the Buddha. Reflecting with their peers and facilitators, they developed better clarity and feel more confident in embedding these valuable lessons into their daily lives.
We extend our appreciation to the Dhamma speakers, Institute’s volunteers and all participants for making this course a fruitful learning experience for all. The next opportunity to learn Buddhist teachings in a structured manner is upcoming – the Institute is offering BPS 307 Certificate in Buddhist Studies in English starting on 8 June 2024.
