Family Dhamma School’s wholesome day of service and bonding

Family Dhamma School’s wholesome day of service and bonding

We rejoice with the learning spirits of the parents and children.

On Saturday 17 August, over 60 students and facilitators of Family Dhamma School Kuala Lumpur had a family outing to experience the joy of service and strengthen family well-being.

Surrounded by the peaceful ambiance of nature, families volunteered their service in various hands-on activities including plant propagation, soil mixing, and preparing the venue for upcoming programmes.  These tasks provided a meaningful opportunity for parents and children to work side by side, deepening their connection through shared efforts.  The group also spent quality time together in a series of family-based learning activities, which encouraged effective communication and mutual trust.

The beautiful morning was anchored with spiritual practice of chanting and meditation.

Mothers volunteered their service in preparing lunch for all participants.

It was a fulfilling day for the whole group, as the outing not only brought families closer together but also emphasized the importance of community spirit.  We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Dhamma School facilitators, parents, students and volunteers who joined and supported this enriching day of service and learning.  Sadhu anumodana.
