Institute students engage in meritorious deeds

Participants eager to present their learning outcomes.

On Saturday 7 September, students of BPS 307 Certificate in Buddhist Studies presented their much-anticipated group assignments to course lecturers and peers.  As part of their course assessments, students collaborated in groups to organise experiential learning sessions based on the theme of “Ten Meritorious Deeds” and presented their learning outcomes.

The audience was inspired by the various wholesome deeds undertaken by the groups, which included supporting the Pindacara educational programme, upkeeping the learning facilities in Nalanda, and bringing joy to residents at welfare homes.  In their presentations, students reflected on the knowledge, skills, values, and cultural insights gained through these meaningful acts of service, as well as the deep sense of fulfillment they experienced.

Group members arrive earlier to conduct rehearsals before the actual presentation.
