Uplifting retreat for Dhamma School facilitators

Uplifting retreat for Dhamma School facilitators

From 31 October to 2 November, Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators from Serdang, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru schools gathered at Wisdom Park for a rejuvenating retreat. Centred around the theme of “Mindful and Purposeful Living,” this annual retreat offered facilitators an opportunity to deepen their Dhamma practice and strengthen their skills as compassionate and competent educators.

Over the three-day retreat, facilitators engaged in meaningful learning sessions and reinforced their spiritual cultivation on the new moon Uposatha Day. The programme also fostered camaraderie and mutual support, as facilitators shared personal experiences, exchanged ideas, and reflected on the challenges and inspirations of guiding young minds along the Dhamma path. We rejoice in the dedication of our Dhamma School facilitators, who continue to enrich the lives of students with the Buddha’s teachings. Sadhu anumodana!

Sis. Nandini Tan welcomed facilitators and youths, and shared the importance of upholding the values of respect and humility in our culture.
