Students explore good friendship

Students explore good friendship

On the weekend of 9 – 10 November, over 30 students of ages 16 to 23 joined the Students Stay-in Programme themed “Friendship” at Nalanda Centre.  Together with facilitators and volunteers, the group explore the importance of good friendship in life.

Though engaging learning session and activities, students better understood the qualities of a good friend and how to build and maintain meaningful connections.  The group learned how to develop wise companionship as they navigate through life, and truly appreciated the guidance offered by Sis. Sunanda Ong, Bro. Aggaphala Yap and Nalanda youth leaders Bro. Yeo Disheng and Bro. Ajit Lim.

Whilst the group enjoyed the fun fellowship activities, they also learned the values of  teamwork, skillful communication  and collaboration.  We extend our appreciation to the Dhamma speakers, Nalanda Youth Centre, and all volunteers for enabling this programme for our young friends.  Sukhihontu.
