Cultivating gratitude in our lives with Dr. Phang Cheng Kar

On Sunday 24 November, Nalanda members, devotees, Dhamma School facilitators and students gathered for the Samaggi Sunday Service, a tradition observed on the last Sunday of every month. The day also marked the final session in the Dhamma School year, and the congregation reflected with much gratitude on their learning journey.

Dr. Phang Cheng Kar gave a talk on ‘Bearing Gratitude’, sharing various ways for us to gradually imbue our lives with appreciation for others and what we have. Cultivating gratitude enables us to better overcome adversity as well because we are able to seek the silver lining in every cloud and act with a positive mindset. We will also experience much contentment which naturally leads to more moments of happiness.

We extend our appreciation to Dr. Phang for sharing with us the Dhamma and also the innovative ways he has created to help more people to develop values such as kindness and gratitude. To view the Dhamma talk by Dr. Phang, please visit this link https://youtu.be/FFKoDoCN68U
