On 30 November, 20 young working adults from Nalanda Youth Centre embarked on a learning excursion to Buddhist Maha Vihara, Brickfields and Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia.
At the Vihara, the youths learnt about the remarkable history of the temple – which the late Ven. K. Sri Dhammananda was based in for over 50 years – and about Buddhist architecture, values and culture. The youths also had the opportunity to offer lunch dāna and make offerings to the Sangha.

It was an informative and engaging tour of the core mechanisms that underpin our daily activities and keep the nation moving forward.
