On 28 December 2024, Nalanda Family Dhamma School Johor Bahru celebrated its first Appreciation and Honours Day at the Nalanda Education & Outreach Centre, Johor Bahru. School facilitators and students gathered to express gratitude to all who supported the students’ learning journey while celebrating their growth and achievements throughout the year.

Director of Nalanda Dhamma School, Sis. See Hui Shien, expressed deep gratitude to parents, leaders, and the community for their unwavering support. Emphasising the principle, “With Dhamma, there is a way,” she reminded students that the Dhamma serves as a living guide, offering wisdom and clarity in navigating life’s challenges. She also encouraged students to steadfastly uphold the Five Precepts and make choices rooted in righteousness. Representing parents, Sis. Joey Leong shared her reflections on the transformative journey of learning together as a family within the Nalanda community.
