Young Working Adults discuss wise associations at work

Joyful learning with our peers, guided by good spiritual friends.

On Tuesday 14 January, the Young Working Adults gathered for their first meeting of 2025 at the Nalanda Education & Outreach Centre in Happy Garden. The youths joyfully reunited with good friends and meet new friends to continue in their learning to apply Dhamma at the workplace with Bro. Lee Kong Foo, who shared about associating with the wise to build meaningful connections at work.

To discern those who are wise, they carry the values of always seeking knowledge, having patience and compassion, resolving conflicts harmoniously, as well as value silence and reflection.  They would also focus on solutions and view challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.  When we do with the wise, we should be open and humble, have good intentions, ask meaningful questions, be curious, and have a keenness to learn. It is also important to have self-awareness by being more mindful of their thoughts, speech, and actions.
