Friends from SKE plant a tree together to green the campus.

In celebration of Earth Day this week, Nalanda members, students and devotees are mobilising to contribute towards sustainability and environmental efforts.  Today, Green Warriors of Wisdom Park and our friends from Seck Kia Eenh, Melaka have planted trees and shrubs to green and cool the environment.  Lead of the Landscaping Team, Dr. Chen Xing Wei also conducted a special HCL 002 (Horticulture and Landscaping Course) class open to all volunteers on responsible food waste management.

Tomorrow, we will commemorate Earth Day with a special Morning Service at Nalanda Centre with participation from Dhamma School, Youth Centre and all devotees to upkeep and green the areas around the Centre and K. Sri Dhammananda Centre.  The service starts at 8am and we welcome all to join us.  Let us step up to do our part for Mother Earth.
