Representatives of several Malaysian Buddhist organisations were invited to receive Master Hsing Yun's latest publications from Ven. Jue Cheng, Superintendent of Fo Guang Shan Malaysia (Front row, third from right).

On 4 August 2013, Nalanda was honoured to be among the recipients of Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s 16-volume set of new publications, which were published to mark the Venerable’s 75th anniversary of monkhood.

Achariya Ananda Fong and Sis. Santi Cheang, Director and Manager of Pustaka Nalanda respectively, represented Nalanda to receive the publications from Ven. Jue Cheng, the Superintendent of Fo Guang Shan Malaysia, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

The guest of honour at the presentation ceremony was Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Dr. Koh Tsu Koon, former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.  Representatives of several other local Buddhist organisations, including the Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia, were also presented with the books.

The well-designed and attractively-packaged collection is distributed by Fo Guang Publications Sdn Bhd.  The set presented to Nalanda is accessible to the public at Pustaka Nalanda’s Main Library in Sri Serdang, Selangor.

The Main Library’s opening hours are 10.00am – 6.00pm, Tuesdays – Sundays.  Closed on Mondays.  Library membership is FREE.
