Nalanda Dharma School and Nalanda Johor Officers after their discussion at NEO Centre JB.

Over the past weekend on 7 – 8 December, the Director of Nalanda Dharma School (NDS) Sis. Sunandā Ong led 4 NDS facilitators (Sis. Sugandhā, Sis. Sadhikā, Sis. Hui Shien and Bro. Willie) on a visit to NEO Centre Johor Bahru.  The NDS team had several insightful discussions with Nalanda Johor Branch members on “Quality Volunteer Service“.

Everyone took part joyfully in Service Sunday on 8 December, starting with group meditation, followed by offerings, chanting, and an entertaining ‘Dhamma through Drama’ performance by the NEO JB Youth group. The youthful drama performance brightened the Service with much laughter; after which Sis. Sunandā Ong was invited to give a Dhamma sharing to the congregation.  The inspiring session ended with Sis. Sugandhā, Sis. Sadhikā, Sis. Hui Shien and Bro. Willie’s also sharing their most memorable ‘Nalanda Experience’.

In the afternoon, another lively discussion was held with active participation of both NEO JB and NDS officers.  The visit by NDS facilitators to NEO JB ended ‘beautifully’ with a photograph session.  Thanks to NDS officers for your support and visit to NEO Centre JB.  Sadhu anumodana!
