A day well spent

7AM – The day started with a breakfast meal-offering to Ven. Vimuttadhammika at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang.

Throughout the day, Nalandians spent this public holiday meaningfully hosting Venerable monks at Nalanda Centre and Wisdom Park, and providing service to the community.

7AM – The day started with a breakfast meal-offering to Ven. Vimuttadhammika at Nalanda Centre, Sri Serdang.

11AM – Hosting Ven. Lim Sukhito at Wisdom Park. Venerable is the Abbot of Dhammavana Meditation Centre Bukit Mertajam.

11AM – Meal-offering to Venerable Sukhito.

1PM – Bringing Ven. Sukhito on tour of the facilities and grounds in Wisdom Park.

1PM – Venerable was overjoyed to see the Mertajam tree planted at the Liberation Park, from which Bukit Mertajam where he is based was named after.

2PM – Offering requisites to Venerables.

2PM – Thanking Venerables for intentionally making the trip from Sungai Petani to visit Wisdom Park.

3PM – Back at Nalanda Centre, volunteers prepared the ‘Care Bags’ to be brought to the Children’s Home.

5PM – Visiting the community at Pusat Jagaan Ribuan Kasih and distributing food aid and ‘Care Bags’

7PM – Nalanda Youth leaders having a discussion in preparation for the upcoming Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults.
